OK, contrary to early reports it doesn't seem that they're carrying out
a full scale invasion on this very instant, although an outlying maison
has been captured.

What you can tell from the scouts is that the Zeelanders are heavily
armed with what the Fae call boomsticks, with a number of boomtrees. The
description doesn't sound, at least in effect, unlike a wand of magic
missiles or a wand of fireballs.

They also carry very finely crafted longswords; probably +2 by the
descriptions you've received, and probably the same with half-plate
armour.

The numbers of Zeelanders seem to rather less numerically, but their
degree of organisation seems to far exceed that of the Iberians.

The Iberians seem most worried about the possibility of a naval assault.
They have encountered the armoured boats of the Zeelanders once before
and suffered a terrible loss; the only way they have retained their
power in the past is with magical backup.
