I suppose there is a bit of a blurred boundary. I personally am interested
in talking about rules for any version of RQ, including MRQ, AiG, SPQR,
Mythworld and even GORE. I think there's less of a case for discussing DBRP
in and of itself though it might be interesting to discuss the ways of
re-engineering RQ out of it. I suspect that this is a small and intelligent
enough of a list that no one's going to get too precious about these things.

I'm also interested in taking insights from other systems and seeing how
they could be applied to RQ. For example, I've been following the D&D 4
discussion over on rpg net. Admittedly I've played D&D precisely twice in my
life but I'm not interested in "why D&D sucks." What I have found
interesting is the way in which first CCGs and now MMORPGs have influenced
D&D. Stepping gingerly around flame bait, one thing I've noticed is the use
of "scenes" and skill challenges. As far as I can tell, they've adopted a
system whereby given a scene of some sort a GM can do two things:
1 freeform it - if the players figure it out they figure it out
2 game it - the players succeed if they make X successful skill rolls before
failing Y times.

E.g. given some sort of scene - a truculent, animated door may provide PCs
with important information. The GM figures it's a minor but difficult task
so secretly assigns it a 3/2 rating. Players need 3 successful skill rolls
out of 5 to succeed at the encounter. Each player describes what they're
doing and the GM assigns a skill roll. E.g. one player wishes to use World
Lore to see if they have heard of speaking doors, another wants to use craft
woodworking on the basis that perhaps he can repair some damage and so on.
Seems like a neat idea at first glance and I'm wondering if others have
tried formalising "scenes" in this way using RQ.
