Do not include large sections of a message in your reply. Especially not to say "Yeah, I agree." Those who do will be lynched. 2. Use an appropriate Subject line. RQR: will be prepended to it. 3. Do not engage in a point-by-point analysis or rebuttal of another person's message. It is too confusing for others to follow, qualifies as nit-picking, and it usually leads to flame wars. 4. AFAIK, you can't split variable spells. You can cast two half strength spells but I believe the only ways to cast two spells at once are 1) Rune magic - Multispell 2) A powered crystal 3) Heroquested powers. But who am I to tell you how to play :-) Nigel - ------------------------------------------------------------------- "Be Pure 'The Sayings of Torquemada' Be Vigilant Nemesis the Warlock BEHAVE!!! 2000AD - ------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ From: jonas.schiott@vinga.hum.gu.se Date: Mon, 12 Dec 1994 14:38:13 +0100 Subject: RQR: Shamanrun.. Especially since the whole idea smacks of Shadowrun astral combat, which suffers from exactly the same problems as netrunning. Well, maybe not exactly, since the Astral Plane is not as strictly defined (mapped) as the Matrix, but pretty much the same. Rules like these could be useful if you're running a session for shamans (or other spiritual travellers) _only_, but you'd still need an abstract and quick version for those times when the other players are starting to get glazed looks in their eyes...
